In this video Malka Maxwell(-Shapira) uses the analogy of pipes. Pipes are something that are virtually everywhere underground.
Pipes connect a water source like oceans, lakes etc to a “need a solution” source such as homes, buildings etc.
Just like in the analogy, SEO connects point A to point B
